As the Founder and CEO of Do Space, I led the creation and long term development of one of the first technology libraries in the United States. I developed the original vision, strategic plan, and operational framework for Do Space and guided the project from a blank slate to a nationally recognized organization that served more than 98,000 members. This included planning and designing the makerspace and TechLab, developing the service model, creating digital literacy programs, and building a strong network of community partners. I worked with architects, funders, philanthropic partners, and technology vendors to ensure that the facility and services supported hands on learning, creativity, and equitable access to advanced tools.

My responsibilities also included strategic planning, budget and operations management, organizational development, and continuous innovation. I created technology policies, staffing plans, program evaluation methods, and long term sustainability strategies. Each of these responsibilities aligns with core consulting functions such as assessment, planning, implementation support, and change management.

In the later phase of the organization, I designed and executed a multi year plan to transition Do Space’s programs and assets to the City of Omaha. This required careful planning, strong communication, and coordination across many partners. The process mirrored a consulting style approach to organizational transition and sustainability planning.

Do Space represents a complete lifecycle project that includes initial concept work, service design, implementation, scaling, evaluation, and transition. It reflects my ability to lead complex technology and innovation projects with a clear understanding of community needs and long term impact.
