Unlimited Possibilities, Powered by OhioNet, led the Columbus State Library through a strategic planning process called EXPLORE, which is rooted in the practices of Appreciative Inquiry and Human Centered Design and focused on an exploration into existing strengths, values, and successes, as well as an exploration into community needs to discover the most strategic opportunities for the library to pursue. The EXPLORE model of strategic planning included dialogue and conversation with multiple stakeholders throughout the whole system, that was inclusive and collaborative, and resulted in a roadmap for implementation, a measurement plan, and implementation coaching support.
