Let’s Talk Race Online Curriculum
Starting in 2021, Kim led a team-based project for the Richland Library (SC) to turn their ‘Let’s Talk Race’ program model for courageous community conversations into a free, asynchronous online curriculum.
Together, the team brought three key ingredients for success: a deep knowledge of libraries; facilitation expertise with a race equity lens; and a pedagogical approach to informal learning.
The curriculum empowers organizations to start a comprehensive Let’s Talk Race initiative in their organizations and communities and to create a personalized experience based on their readiness level, goals and context.
After beta testing, the easy-to-use website will launch nationally in Fall 2022.
