This project will focus on 1. weeding and updating the CGCC Library collection with an equity mindset and 2. dismantling the Dewey Decimal system to favor a more ad hoc, genre-based, and patron-developed organization system that improves wayfinding and is more representative of the global majority.
We are hoping to find a consultant who is interested in helping oversee this type of project. We are flexible with our deadline, but would like to begin the reclassification process around May, if possible.
